Need to know the exact details on Roting master data
Dear Gurus,
Actually i am going to work on parallel sequence in routing master.
I have checked the standard system .In routing i have created the operations 10,20,30,40 and selected the operation 20 and clicked on sequence and select the parallel sequence.
But in that the system is asking for branch operation and return operation. I need a clear picture of why the parallel sequence is required and what is the exact meaning of branch operation and return operation.
Kindly clarify the doubts.

It's not possible to migrate an Infospoke to an Open Hub Destination. Infospoke is using 3.x data staging technology and Open Hub Destination 7.0 data staging technology.
The only way is to create a new Open Hub Destination with similar settings and the corresponding Transformation and DTP.

Hi Balaji,
Thank you for the prompt response but upon checking on the link you gave, it does not specify there on how may users on the mentioned specs will still provide a better performance once they connect to SAP server. Because once the 15 SAP users will connect to SAP server simultaneously it really give poor performances on the client workstation. It always hanged and sometimes automatically closed. I really believe that the number of users who are connecting to SAP Business one server have a huge impact on its performance.
Do have some links wherein I can see the appropriate server specs with the number of users?

Hi Vijay,
For this you have to extend the Gateway project as well.
- Go to SEGW
- Create a new extended project.
- Now Right-click Data Model and select Redefine -> OData Service (GW).
- On the first page of the wizard, select the F4 help as indicated.
- Select the standard service for Travel expense : starts with SRA and select the green tick mark icon.
- Select Next.
- Click the Select All icon, and select Finish.( Entity types)
- Select the new Gateway service, and click the Generate icon.
- Select the green tick mark in the Model and Service Definition window.
- Make sure you assign a package.
- Create all the associations manually in the new Gateway service (highlighted in yellow) by using the Add Association icon in the Associations screen. Create the same associations as in the standard Gateway service (highlighted in red).
- Create all the association sets manually in the new Gateway service (highlighted in yellow) by using the Add Association Set icon in the Association Sets screen. Create the same association sets as in the standard Gateway service (highlighted in red).
- Generate the project.
- Right click the highlighted DPC_EXT class and goto abap repository and write the logic for it in Get entity and entity set.

Since it is an inventory cube it would have lot of historical data for the materials that might be the cause for poor performance. try applying filters on time chars and see once.

One item code, multiple process, how to manage inventory
Hi,
Am new to SAP B1, Am using one item code, which undergoes many process, for eg, Item-Iron plate(finished part),process- rawmaterial->Rolling->Machining->Grinding->surface coating. Currently we using one part no. for all the process. So wat happening is, I purchased raw material and am trying to update stock, it is updating as finished component. Also while calculating cost it should include all process cost incurred for making one finished component. I know we should use separate item code or part no. for each process, but we already imported bom like this. We imported 10BOM's each BOM contains minimum of 1000 line items.
Kindly suggest me is there any solution without creating new item code for each process.

I agree with Omid response.
For my existing customer, we are using a custom driver program and you can copy RU schema with the necessary customizations for running the AZ payroll in SAP.
Since I have joined in the support phase, I am not having the complete information about the AZ legal changes, however when I started checking the system found few details which might be helpful.
Few changes we have done to some payroll operations and given below screens.
Payroll cluster function EXPRT must be UR -Russia while exporting the results.
- For setting up the payroll periods it starts with Jan 01 - Dec 12 months for the payroll calculations.
- Payroll Process model here we follow is Payroll run- DME- Posting to FICO -Bank Report
- Use info type 299 for tax declarations
- Function RUTAX can be used for Tcalc's
- At Main Schema you can use AZ country grouping and also define the wage type as per this CG.
- Currency AZN.
